About The Project

Objective

The primary aim of the Tips.tips project was to design and develop a convenient service facilitating cashless transactions with waitstaff, couriers, streamers, and other service industry workers who typically receive tips.

Scope of Work

The project's scope included the creation of a platform with features such as personalized payment pages, detailed transaction information, card linking, team collaboration, and integration with popular mobile wallets like Apple Wallet and Google Pay.

The service comprises five applications:

• Backend to implement business logic and integrations;
• Landing page for QR code;
• User dashboard;
• Promo website;
• Control Panel;

Challenge

The primary challenge was to devise a secure and user-friendly solution that would simplify the cashless tipping process, ensuring seamless interaction between the service's users and their clients. This required a robust infrastructure, an intuitive interface, and efficient payment processing.

Solution

To address the set challenges, our team designed and developed a platform with the following key features:

• Personalized Payment Page: A customizable personal payment page with a QR code for ease of payment. To make a payment, users simply follow a unique link or scan the generated QR code.
• Detailed Transaction Information: Comprehensive statistics and reports on received tips for a selected period, as well as detailed info on payments and disbursements.
• Card Linking: Users can link their payment cards in their dashboard to receive disbursements.
• Team Functionality: Teams and organizations can create collective payment pages to send payments to selected team members.
• Integration with Apple Wallet and Google Pay: Users can add their payment page to Apple Wallet or Google Pay for quick access and payment notifications.
• Automatic Payouts: Funds are automatically transferred to the user's linked bank card.

Outcome

The Tips.Tips service successfully optimized the cashless payment process for service industry professionals and their clients. By offering an intuitive platform equipped with essential features, Tips.Tips has made it easier for individuals to express gratitude, simplified transactions, and ensured timely disbursements.
